Cryogenic Distillation Technology
Shenger Gas cryogenic air separation equipment is the core equipment for the large-scale preparation of high-purity oxygen, nitrogen and argon. This system is based on mature and reliable cryogenic distillation technology, and deeply cools the air to the liquefaction temperature. It uses the different boiling points of each component to perform efficient separation in the distillation tower, and finally obtains the required high-purity gas product. This technology is the most economical and stable solution to achieve oxygen production scale of 10,000 tons or above and obtain ppb-grade ultra-high purity gases.
Core technology principle
Cryogenic distillation is the cornerstone technology of modern industrial gas separation. The process is mainly divided into the following steps:
- Air compression and purification: After the ambient air is removed by a filter, it is compressed by a multi-stage compressor, and then it is completely removed by a molecular sieve adsorber to prevent subsequent system freezing and blockage.
- Heat Exchange and Cooling: The clean high-pressure air is heat exchanged with the refluxed low-temperature product gas in the main heat exchanger and is gradually cooled to close to the liquefaction temperature.
- Distillation separation: Liquefied air enters the double-stage distillation column system. In the lower tower (pressure tower), the air is initially separated; in the upper tower (low pressure tower), the final distillation technology is performed using cryogenic distillation technology, nitrogen (low boiling point) is distilled from the overhead and oxygen (high boiling point) accumulates at the bottom of the tower to obtain the product of the desired purity.
- Storage and conveying: The separated liquid or gaseous products are introduced into the storage tank and then transported to the user end through a pump or booster system.
