Cryogenic oxygen distillation unit is an efficient and reliable industrial-grade gas separation system designed for extraction of high-purity oxygen (O₂) from the air. The equipment is based on cryogenic distillation technology, and realizes the liquefaction and purification of oxygen under extremely low temperature environments (below -183°C). It is widely used in the medical, chemical, metal processing and energy industries.

 

Core technology and working principle

1. Air compression and pretreatment

After the raw material air is filtered, compressed and cooled, moisture, CO₂ and other impurities are removed to ensure that the gas entering the cryogenic system is pure.

2. Cryogenic liquefaction and distillation

The pretreated air enters the core cryogenic oxygen distillation unit's core cryogen heat exchanger and is gradually cooled to -185°C~-190°C to liquefy the air. Subsequently, liquid air is introduced into the distillation tower, and the boiling point difference between oxygen and nitrogen (O₂: -183°C, N₂: -196°C) is used for distillation separation, and finally obtains oxygen of more than 99.5% purity.

3. Oxygen storage and output

High-purity liquid oxygen can be stored in low-temperature storage tanks, or converted into gaseous oxygen through a vaporizer, and transported to the gas terminal as needed.
