How It Works: A Straightforward Physical Separation Process

The core of the system is a dual-tower alternating adsorption setup. Compressed air, after oil and water removal, enters the adsorption towers filled with zeolite molecular sieves. Nitrogen is preferentially adsorbed by the sieves, while oxygen passes through smoothly into a buffer tank. When one tower reaches adsorption saturation, the system automatically switches to the other tower for production, while the saturated tower rapidly depressurizes and desorbs using a small portion of product gas, releasing nitrogen. The entire process runs at ambient temperature-no phase change, no additives, and the only byproduct is atmospheric-pressure nitrogen-enriched gas.

It should be noted that the temperature range is not a requirement for the equipment itself, but rather the condition that the inlet air cooling and drying system must maintain. When the inlet air temperature exceeds 45°C, the dynamic adsorption capacity of the molecular sieve drops noticeably, affecting oxygen production efficiency.

The complete skid-mounted PSA oxygen generator is shipped with piping welding, valve testing, and control system integration already completed.
